John J. Keller, DDS
Dr. John J. Keller attended the University of Nebraska for undergraduate and Dental School. Following graduation from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry he was commissioned a Lieutenant in the US Navy. He served with the Marine Corps and the Submarine Service before entering an Oral and Maxillofacial Residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center great Lakes Illinois. The residency included training at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas, courses at the Medical College of Virginia and training at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington DC. His training included orthognathic surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, maxillofacial trauma, dental Implants and anesthesia. Prior to leaving the U.S. Navy he was selected for the rank of Commander. He joined Sheboygan Oral and Maxillofacial Associates in 1978.
Dr. Keller is Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and also a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is a Fellow of both the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Keller has also been elected as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. He is a member of Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Sheboygan County Dental Society.
Dr. Keller has published many articles in professional journals. He formerly held an appointment as a Clinical Instructor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Keller holds staff appointments at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center and St. Nicholas Hospital.
